Duration of Courses 

5 Day Fork Lift Truck Operator Course

This course will enable the trainee with no experience of a lift truck, to be trained in all aspects and to attain the required standard to pass the basic FLT skills test.

3 Day Experienced Fork Lift Operator Course

To enable partially experienced operators to attain the required standard to pass the basic FLT skills test.

1 Day Refresher Course

To enable experienced and certificated operators to be reassessed and receive any remedial tuition required to enable them to pass the basic skills test. Note: A copy of existing licence must be produced on arrival for this FLT course.

3 Day Conversion Training

To enable operators who hold a certificate in one type of truck to convert to another, i.e. Counterbalance Fork Lift truck to Reach Truck. A copy of prior licence must be produced.

Course Funding

Full or part funding is available for most of the above courses. Employers can access funding via our Train to Gain courses including the NVQ in Plant Operations (FLT). These courses not only provide the benefits of an RTITB accredited FLT licence, but will provide FLT operators with high value training in the operations of fork lift trucks to help improve the profitability of your business.
