Employer Feedback
Tony Poole – TP
Tyres
In September 2009 Tony employed one of Mantra’s Young
Apprentice school leavers. Daniel had studied Motor
Vehicle Maintenance and Repair level 1 with Mantra from
the age of 14, alongside his GCSEs. This meant Daniel
attending Mantra 2 days a week and the other 3 days back
in school.
“Daniel was ready to work from day one. The skills and
knowledge Daniel already had, helped him settle into his
role and was able to really earn his wage from day one.
This was vital in the current economic climate. Daniel
was proficient in changing wheels and tyres, vehicle
valeting and general workshop duties. Daniel is now
completing his Apprenticeship with Mantra Learning and
progressing at an amazing rate. After only 6 months on
programme, Daniel can now carry out a range of jobs,
carrying out all the usual ‘Fast Fit’ operations
(Servicing, Brakes, Suspension, Steering, and Exhausts).
I have a vision of Daniel running my garage for me one
day”.
